You are not your illness. You have an individual story to tell. You have a name, a history, a personality. Staying yourself is part of the battle.
Don't believe everything you think!
In order to prevent relationship problems, it is important to express your emotions appropriately at the time you feel them and to assert your thoughts and needs.
"To some people a rose isn't worth stopping to smell and behold in beauty, a rainbow is just random colors in the sky, a spectacular harvest moon is nothing new, and a glimpse of the flashing sun rays just before its setting isn't worth watching to let it take your breath away.... Beauty can be found daily in this world, we just have to keep our hearts open. Find your peace, your happiness, your joy and all things beautiful in this life and spread your light for all the world to see..."

Remember that you always have choices. No one can force you to do anything. Understanding this helps you to be happier with what you choose and let go of the resentment you may feel associated with not being in control. You always have control of your choices in life.
It's OK every now and again to go outside and just scream!!!
